The archive is the part that can be shown. The ledger is the rest of the cellar.
The public archive holds 135 records. It was never the whole cellar — only the part written up, illustrated and made citable. Everything else has been kept the way a cellar keeps things: recorded in a ledger, in bond, without a page of its own.

Not everything recorded is published. Nothing published is unrecorded.
Two hundred and thirty-eight references across 107 producers and 22 regions. Burgundy first, as the cellar has always leaned, then Bordeaux — a holding the public archive does not show at all.

Of the 545 bottles, 360 sit in professional bonded storage. The remaining 185 have never left their producer: bought on release and still resting at the domaine, with the shortest custody chain a bottle can have.
Write with context — a region, a producer, a reason. Requests without context are not answered, which is not rudeness but arithmetic: context is the only thing that makes a reply worth writing.
Approved addresses receive a single-use code by email each time they enter. There is no password to choose, no account to maintain and nothing stored on your side.
It is the record of bottles held by The Empty Drops that are not published in the public archive. The archive is the part that can be shown; the ledger is the rest of the cellar. Bottles in it are recorded, not offered, and access is granted by request rather than by subscription.
By writing with context. Requests are read and approved individually; there is no automatic sign-up. Access is granted by a single-use code sent to the approved address, so there is no password to store and no account to maintain.
The Empty Drops does not sell bottles or process payments. When a recorded bottle leaves the cellar it is released through CruTrade, warehouse to warehouse, in bond, with condition and custody documented for both sides. Interest can be registered; nothing is reserved by registering it.
